"SENSE" is a virtual opportunity for teachers to explore the most exciting attractions and nature areas in Tulsa and learn new ways to engage students in STEAM while meeting academic standards. The best part- you do not need to be a science teacher to apply! We encourage teachers from all content areas and teacher teams from the same school to apply.

Who:
Open to PK-12th grade teachers in the Tulsa metro area. Teachers must hold a current Oklahoma teaching certificate.
When:
Commitment Meeting: Thursday, May 6th, from 4 pm to 5 pm.
Workshop Availability: June 14, 2021 to July 14, 2021 (on-demand).
Requirements:
In order to participate fully, teachers must do the following:
Teachers will be required to complete pre-and post-surveys and submit a deliverable at the end of the session. The deliverable should be a lesson plan or school action plan.
Activities are in the Tulsa area and may require driving to multiple locations. Teachers are responsible for their own transportation. Some activities require attendees to be outdoors and may include walking/hiking moderate distances on uneven terrain.
The deadline to apply is 11:55 pm on Monday, March 1, 2021. Space is limited and completing this application does not guarantee acceptance.
You will be notified of acceptance by Friday, March 19, 2021.
