SCRIPT Facilitator Workshop (Computer Science)

Become trained as a SCRIPT Facilitator and help school districts create or expand upon a computer science implementation plan

SCRIPT (Strategic CSforALL Resource & Implementation Planning Tool) is a framework used to guide teams of district administrators, school leaders, and educators through a series of collaborative visioning, self-assessment and goal-setting exercises to create or expand upon a computer science education implementation plan.  To learn more about SCRIPT, visit  

Upon completing the workshop, you will be eligible to use the SCRIPT framework with school districts or LEAs in your region, supporting the design of state, regional, or district CS education plans.  On the first day of the workshop you will be learn how to use the tool, and on days 2-3 you will work with school district teams to help support them through the SCRIPT process, under the leadership and direction of the CSforALL team.  

Who:  To participate you must provide services to or work for an Oklahoma school district.  Ideal applicants have experience providing professional development at a school-wide or district-wide level and understand the importance of providing high-quality computer science education for all students.  Educators, district leaders, state education leaders, school service providers, and those in similar roles are eligible.

When:  June 28-30, 2021 from approximately 8AM-4PM each day  

Where:  Virtual (you will need reliable internet access for all 3 days of the workshop)

Cost:  Free!  Thanks to generous funding from the Charles and Lynn Schusterman Family Philanthropies and a grant from CSforALL, there is no cost to participate.  Additionally, stipends will be provided to participants who are not under contract during the workshop dates and fulfill all workshop requirements. 

Applications due May 16.  If minimum capacity is not met, workshop will be rescheduled.   Completion of this form does not guarantee a place in the workshop.  You will be contacted via email if you are accepted into the program.   Please contact with questions.
