Work with your team to create a district-wide computer science education plan
Hosted by Tulsa Regional STEM Alliance
SCRIPT (Strategic CSforALL Resource & Implementation Planning Tool) is a framework used to guide teams of district administrators, school leaders, and educators through a series of collaborative visioning, self-assessment and goal-setting exercises to create or expand upon a computer science education implementation plan. To learn more about SCRIPT, visit https://www.csforall.org/projects_and_programs/script/.
Who: School districts in Oklahoma are eligible to participate. District teams must include at least one of each: a district-level administrator/tribal department of education, a school-level leader such as a principal, a teacher who currently teaches or will teach computer science, and another school-based member such as a counselor, librarian, SpEd teacher, technology or curriculum specialist, etc. A representative for both K-8 and 9-12 should be included on the team. Teams must include a minimum of 4 members.
When: June 29-30, 2021 from approximately 8AM-4PM each day
Where: The workshop will be facilitated virtually, but district teams should meet at a site together and will access the workshop via a platform such as Zoom.
Cost: Free! Thanks to generous funding from the Charles and Lynn Schusterman Family Philanthropies and a grant from CSforALL, there is no cost to participate. Additionally, stipends will be provided to participants who are not under school contract time during the workshop dates and fulfill all workshop requirements.
Applications due May 16. If minimum capacity is not met, workshop will be rescheduled. Completion of this form does not guarantee a place in the workshop. You will be contacted via email if your district is accepted into the program, at which time team members will need to complete a short registration form for each individual.
If you have questions about this application or about the workshop, please feel free to reach out to email@example.com.
